They are more distracted in how many likes or views their photo will get as opposed to taking a photo for the fun of it.

I feel like it is more of a examination of our current social situation. You can't look around and not see somebody on a phone, they have become a part of our lives and are able to control us. People are too addicted to their phones and have to have it to get through their daily life.
