What is the general premise of the video? The general premise of the video is showing how everyone is caught up in their phones and technology and are too interested in taking a picture of the moment rather than living in the moment. They are more distracted in how many likes or views their photo will get as opposed to taking a photo for the fun of it. Is the video effective in conveying it's intended message? Yes it uses some current elements to make it relate more to your life. Do you feel that this video is more of a cautionary story or more of an examination of our current social situation? I feel like it is more of a examination of our current social situation. You can't look around and not see somebody on a phone, they have become a part of our lives and are able to control us. People are too addicted to their phones and have to have it to get through their daily life.

All of the images are in order starting with the scissors image. Image 1 This photo was taken in a field, but I don't know what event it was taken at. It is a Image of a giant pair of scissors cutting through a landscape and a house. It is a little red house in a large field, there are rolling hills in the background,and there is a giant pair of scissors cutting through the whole picture. On the left there is a house that has been cut through. On the left inside the house there is a person that is looking at where the scissors cut. In the top righthand corner there is a giant pair of scissors cutting through the earth. The people look as if they are confused by what happened. The viewers attention is brought to the house because the color red pulls you to it as opposed to the dull colors around it. The photo is dark, it has mute colors and worn out colors.
